Exfoliate Series: Lips

The weather has changed. There’s no escaping that, but with cozy knits comes cold winds and central heating and these conditions are not optimal for our beauty products to do what they need to.

Moisturise. Treat. Protect.

Our bodies natural coping mechanism is to cover up with dead cells which leads to scaly, crusty and patchy lips, face and skin. In this mini blog series, I will share how I exfoliate to allow our hard working and expensive beauty products to do what we paid for.

Today, we discuss, dry crusty lips, urgh! It is dark and berry lipstick season, this is how I prep my luscious lips to take on the creamy lovely lipsticks!

I received this lovely pair at a networking event and Lush gifted us these.

Rub the scrub on moist lips and scrub-a-dub until your true lips show 😉 Proceed to lavishly coat with the delicious lip balm (what is it with Lush products!)

Lips are now ready!

Word of caution, try not to eat the lipscrub!

Until later,

Would love to try this out because I've only ever bought one product from lush. The last picture shows very smooth results. I Did a post on this and one thing I found out was that what you put on after can either help or damage the whole process.

Crusty, chapped or cracked lips describes the condition of the skin of the lips. It is a commonly seen condition that most people suffer from time to time.
