The Mask

I, like every other woman on this planet will not walk out of her home without a lick of war paint on. It may be lip gloss, lip balm, lipstick or a just a brush of mascara or the full Monty. I confess, I do everything, and I mean everything. I shudder at the thought of being ‘naked’ and would be totally self conscious until I get back home at the end of the day.

My first and most trusted choice has always been Sleek though I have a few MAC products as staple products (the mineralise skin finish is amazing). The Sleek brand was the first affordable brand that was available back home in Ghana and did cater for the range of skin tones, including my delicious chocolateyness. Here in England, I go get me some when I am counting my pennies.

I loved the crème to powder foundation which can be layered to a medium coverage and I remember that even in the heat, I remained flawless  and never got too shiny. A pledge to finish every product I have, before buying another for the same purpose stops me from getting my coveted Bare Minerals SPF 15. The Sleek Skin Revive mocks me, as I battle to finish it off. For my skin, it has a strong red undertone and I glisten within an hour. Coverage ‘unfortunately’ is really good (medium to full if you want) so I am still using it since December! I have dropped it ‘accidentally’ a few times hoping it breaks but the glass container is pretty thick. I am prisoner of my own making.

Thanks Sleek!

Hooray for make-up, I guess. What will women do without it? (sarcastic eye roll)
